I am joining in the Retro Rubber challenge again today. The theme is - Anything goes! Just be sure to use a stamp more than a year old.
I needed a card to put into a parcel for a friend, so this Woodware sentiment stamp - which I thought I would never have a use for - came in very handy. The set it comes from is I think a couple of years old. The butterflies are from SU (large and medium), at least four years old and the smaller solid ones are from DaliArt, about the same or perhaps older. Soon all my stamps will be over a year old, since I haven't bought any since I left work last year LOL.
I did the background with a Tim Holtz mask, though he calls it a stencil. Not the only brand to ignore the difference between the two, by any means, and I do find it irritating!

See you tomorrow!
That's a really pretty background - be it a mask OR a stencil! :-) Very pretty combination of colours too. Thanks for playing along with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha - your feelings about mask and stencil are how I feel about Laminating and Encapsulating... NOT the same thing at all. Love your card and that pop of colour with the sentiment and butterflies. Thanks for joining us this time at Retro Rubber. Cx DT
ReplyDeleteLove the inking on your background, the butterflies really set your card off. Thanks for sharing with Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.
